The word of the day: impulse. Don’t let it get to you!

There is a strong adverse connection between Venus and Mars, which spells Hypersensitivity. Words may cut deeper than they normally do; try not to hold a grudge against those who upset you today – if you analyze the words, you’ll find that normally, you would not be offended. Because of this strong Venus/Mars pull, sexual tension may arise, even in the most stable of relationships… it will pass.

For those who do not feel impulse driving their movements, lack of self-confidence may arise. Luckily, most of these feelings will be gone as quickly as they came.

Today, the Moon enters Capricorn, which brings strong feelings of determination, responsibility, and patience. While our Moon transits Capricorn, she brings us stability that is much needed. With the Sagittarian urge for adventure dissipated, you may suddenly find yourself wanting to organize your junk drawer

If you find yourself falling victim to feelings of discomfort or discontent, carry a silver or turquoise, pendant or stone. Hematite is an excellent stone for grounding, and a tumbled piece can easily be carried with you. (If you do choose to carry Hematite, be sure to wear it on your receptive side – the left.) Carrying or wearing a piece of Turquoise will help you reconcile any lack of self-confidence that you may have. Try to wear something white, for reflection.

Today’s Horoscope

Energy is high and optimism is in the air (especially if you are a Leo or Sagittarius). If you have time, today is a good day to sit down and be creative: your artistic side is ACHING to come out (especially if you are Aquarian), and your imagination is probably running wild. However, on the downside – today’s energy is going to be very changeable – so don’t be surprised if you are happy one minute and sad the next. Nervous energy is high, especially for Pisces. If you have any business plans, now is a good time to make them: lady luck is on your side, but only for a short while. For Libra, Sagittarius, and Pisces, if you are doing something wrong – you will most likely get caught! My advice, be on your best behaviour for a little while longer. With the Moon in Sagittarius until tonight, your mind may be set on adventure… indulge yourself – but don’t venture too far from your comfort zone, the Moon will be void of course starting at 9:45 pm (EST)

With all the fire influences in the stars today – Red and Silver are the predominant colours. Yellow is the Magickal colour of the day, regarding the moon. If you are not in the mood to wear red, then try to carry something red with you, a stone if possible (red jasper, garnet, and ruby, etc.); if that’s not possible, try to wear your silver necklace, or a silver pendant. This is especially important if you are a Water Sign: all the fire in the sky today will throw you off balance. Yellow will soothe your nervousness. To Air Signs: you may feel more alive today than other days, just remember not to overexert yourself (as most air signs will do anyway).
